Project Topic: A Space For Documentary Filmmakers

  In this project, there is accommodation for five people working on the documentary, along with spaces for working on the documentary itself, equipment storage, and an exhibition hall. Additionally, there are communal areas. The geodesic dome outside features shutters between each structural frame unit that operate based on the mechanism of a camera diaphragm. These transform the dome into a projection room that offers different presentation options for the documentarian. It provides a hybrid documentary presentation and viewing experience, connecting the physical and contemporary digital world. When all the diaphragms are fully opened, the space transforms into an open-air communal area.

Bu projede, belgesel üzerine çalışan beş kişinin konaklaması için alanın yanı sıra, belgesel üretiminde kullanılacak çalışma alanları, ekipman depolama alanı ve bir sergi salonu bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca ortak kullanım alanları da mevcuttur. Dışarıda yer alan jeodezik kubbede, her taşıyıcı strüktür biriminin arasında yer alan panjurlar/perdeler, bir kamera diyaframı mekanizması gibi çalışır. Bu mekanizma sayesinde kubbe, belgeselcinin farklı sunum seçenekleri sunabildiği bir projeksiyon odasına dönüşür. Fiziksel ve çağdaş dijital dünyayı birleştiren hibrit bir belgesel sunum ve izleme deneyimi sağlar. Tüm diyaframlar tamamen açıldığında, mekân açık hava ortak alanına dönüşür.
